ビジネスの世界は、AIの進化とともに、今後ますます大きく変化していくでしょう。

生活はより便利になり、ビジネスチャンスも広がっていくはずです。ビジネスが拡大すると、標準化が加速することが多くなります。それは標準化が効率的だからです。効率化が進めば、利便性が高まり、より安価にサービスを受けられるようになります。これは進化の過程といってよいでしょう。

前提が変われば、対応も変わります。標準化を進めることで、細かな点が捨象されがちになります。少数派の意見を十分に拾い上げることは難しくなり、差別や区別が進む可能性がある点には注意が必要です。

M&Aファイナンス新聞では、AFTI（Audit-Free Trust Infrastructure）について取り上げました。環境がこれほど変化する中で、AIによる監査にとどまらず、そもそも監査を必要としないインフラを構築すべきではないか、という発想です。

M&Aについては、仲介を前提として出来上がっているビジネスモデルの問題点をどのように改善していくかが論点になります。ビジネスモデルとして一定の意味はあるものの、数少ない弱点が意外に大きいのも事実です。そこに単に風穴を開けるのではなく、課題に気づいた人たちをどのようにサポートしていくのかが重要になります。

教育分野も、軽薄短小と言えばそうかもしれませんが、非常に効率的になっています。だからこそ、自分たちが主体となり、効率化されたツールをどのように使いこなしていくのかが問われています。

身近なテーマであっても、難易度の高い論点に囲まれている状況です。しかし、これは決して悪いことではありません。

M&Aファイナンス新聞も、いつまで続くかは分かりません。実際、昨年後半から今年前半にかけては、時間が取れず、更新が滞った時期もありました。これもいずれ時が解決してくれるでしょう。

課題は多いものの、希望も多い。そうした思いを込めて、本年最後の記事とさせていただきます。

The business world will continue to change at an accelerating pace as AI evolves.

Daily life will become more convenient, and business opportunities will continue to expand. As businesses grow, standardization often accelerates because it is highly efficient. Greater efficiency leads to improved convenience and allows services to be provided at lower costs. This can be seen as a natural process of evolution.

When underlying assumptions change, responses must also change. As standardization progresses, finer details tend to be overlooked. It becomes harder to fully reflect minority opinions, and there is a risk that discrimination or excessive categorization may advance. This is something we must remain mindful of.

At M&A Finance News, we covered the concept of AFTI (Audit-Free Trust Infrastructure). Given the scale of environmental change we are experiencing, the idea goes beyond simply using AI for audits and instead asks whether we should build infrastructure that does not require audits in the first place.

In the context of M&A, the key issue is how to improve the shortcomings of business models that are built on the assumption of intermediaries. While such models have their merits, their few weaknesses can be surprisingly significant. Rather than merely breaking through these flaws, the real question is how to support those who have become aware of them.

Education has also become lighter, smaller, and more compact—one could even describe it negatively in those terms—but it has undeniably become extremely efficient. This makes it all the more important for us to take ownership and learn how to effectively use these increasingly efficient tools.

Even familiar topics now involve complex and challenging issues. However, this is not necessarily a bad thing.

It is unclear how long M&A Finance News will continue. In fact, from the latter half of last year through the first half of this year, there were periods when updates slowed due to a lack of time. This, too, may be something that time will eventually resolve.

There are many challenges, but there is also much hope. With that in mind, this marks our final article of the year.
