このスライドは、ChatGPTに「なぜ大学や大学院で学ぶのか」というテーマで15分程度のプレゼンを作成したいと問いかけ、その返答をGammaにコピペして作成したものです。制作時間はわずか3分です。

短時間で作ったものですが、一定の内容があり、共感できる部分もあったのではないでしょうか。
一方で、人によっては「浅い」「抽象的すぎる」「プロンプトが雑だ」といった感想を持つかもしれません。たしかにそうかもしれませんが、このスライドが3分でできてしまうということ自体が、人間にとっての脅威です。その脅威にどう向き合うべきでしょうか。

スライドでも触れていますが、重要なのは「問いを立てる力」です。では、この力はどうやって身につければよいのでしょうか。
私が重視しているのは「精度の高い仮説を立案し、実行できる能力」を身につけることです。

ここで言う仮説とは、単なる思いつきではありません。
限られた情報から論理的に導かれる結論であり、「論理的に考えるとこうなるはずだ」という推論のことです。

しかし、これは意外に難しいものです。現代は情報過多の時代であり、「どの情報を集めるべきか」という段階で迷子になってしまう人が多い。私はこれを「情報迷子」と呼んでいます。

精度の高い仮説を立てるには、常に「自分ならどうするか」を考え続けることが重要です。ただし、それは簡単なことではありません。この問いに向き合うには知識と経験が不可欠です。

ビジネスでもプライベートでも、「自分ならどうするか」と問い続け、仮説を立て、実行し、改善していく。そのプロセスを繰り返すことでしか前進はありません。だからこそ、この能力が重要なのです。

もう一つ大切なのは、実行することです。
どれだけ立派で精度の高い仮説を立てても、実行しなければ何も変わりません。成果も幸福も訪れません。

さらに、人によって実行できることは異なります。
自分が実行可能なことを見極め、実行に移し、結果を見直し、改善する。足りないものが見つかれば、それを身につける努力が必要です。

AIにすべてを任せることはできません。
AIは活用すべきですが、最終的に実行するのは人間です。実行力を支えるには、自分自身ができるようになるか、できる仲間を見つけて協力する必要があります。

仲間を見つけるにも行動が必要ですし、一緒に取り組みたいと思われる魅力を自分自身が持たなければなりません。

だからこそ、自分で学び、精度の高い仮説を立て、実行力を身につけることが不可欠なのです。

This slide deck was created by asking ChatGPT to prepare a 15-minute presentation on the topic “Why study at university or graduate school?” and then copying its response into Gamma. The entire process took only three minutes.

Even though it was created in such a short time, the content has substance, and you may have found parts of it relatable.
On the other hand, some may find it “shallow,” “too abstract,” or think that “the prompt was too rough.” That may be true, but the very fact that such a slide deck can be produced in just three minutes itself represents a threat to humans. The question is, how should we face this threat?

As the slides mention, the key is the ability to ask meaningful questions. So how do we acquire this ability?
I believe it is essential to develop the skill to create and execute high-precision hypotheses.

Here, a hypothesis does not mean just a random idea.
It is a conclusion logically derived from limited information—a reasoning process of “logically, this should be the case.”

However, this is surprisingly difficult. In today’s age of information overload, many people get lost at the stage of “what information should I collect?” I call this state being “lost in information.”

To form high-precision hypotheses, it is important to constantly ask, “What would I do?” But this is not easy. To confront this question, both knowledge and experience are indispensable.

In both business and personal life, you must keep asking yourself this question, form a hypothesis, act on it, and improve through iteration. Only by repeating this process can you move forward. That is why this ability is so important.

Another crucial aspect is execution.
No matter how impressive or accurate a hypothesis may be, nothing will change unless it is executed. Neither results nor happiness will come.

Moreover, what can be executed varies from person to person.
You need to identify what is feasible, act on it, review the results, and make improvements. If you find something lacking, you must work to acquire it.

AI cannot handle everything for us.
While AI should be utilized, ultimately, it is humans who must act. To support this, you either need to develop your own capabilities or find capable partners to collaborate with.

Finding the right partners also requires action, and you need to have the personal appeal that makes others want to work with you.

Therefore, it is essential to learn on your own, develop the ability to create high-precision hypotheses, and acquire the power to execute them.
